 The following annotated information is cited from the scientific literature, including original empirical studies and methodical reviews and commentaries published in peer-reviewed scientific/clinical journals, and from reports published by authoritative sources such as the Institute of Medicine (IOM). We make an attempt to include as many meta-analysis systematic reviews as possible.
